Some more masti now on the cards

It’s sure got to be tough to decide which of your pet projects needs your attention, but director Indra Kumar seems to have made his choice. With both a third edition of the Dhamaal franchise and a sequel to Masti being on the cards, trade pundits were wondering which of his two films Indra would decide to go on the floors with.
Well, it seems he’s made his choice and the Masti sequel is the lucky project. Titled Grand Masti, Indra will begin work on the film this July with his actors from the original — Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani. “Riteish, Aftab and Vivek will star in this naughty comedy, which is replete with adult humour,” says an industry source.
Whatever shape the film finally does take, what we do know is that Genelia D’Souza, Tara Sharma and Amrita Rao — Masti’s leading ladies — will not be a part of it. Neither will Ajay Devgn and Lara Dutta, whose roles ended with the original.
