Sidharth loves Mumbai’s festivities

Delhi boy Sidharth Malhotra was rather amused to be in his new home, Mumbai, the past few days. The reason? Ganesh Chaturti celebrations.
A source tells us that Sidharth was shooting for his film Hasee Toh Phasee at a hotel in Juhu on the last day of the festival. The shoot was supposed to wrap up at 3 pm, but due to some delay, went on till 8 pm. By then, the streets were clogged with people heading out towards Juhu beach for immersion (visarjan). Hence the unit suggested that the actor leave on a bike rather than a car since he would never be able to beat the traffic.
“So Sidharth wore his shades, jacket and helmet before he sped off on the bike. He hitched a ride along with his hairdresser. It was his first time amid the festivity and chaos in the city, so he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He has been telling everybody on the sets of the film how he loved the firsthand experience of the visarjan — something he hadn’t seen in Delhi before,” adds our source.
