Siddharth gets a makeover

At a recent promotional event in the city, Siddharth Roy Kapoor turned up all slick and sassy in a three-piece suit and gelled hair, looking visibly thin. The look was quite contrary to the UTV head honcho’s usual sartorial choice. The chubby Siddharth who always wore jeans and a shirt even at formal events, has been ditching the ensemble for a more formal look ever since he started dating Vidya Balan.

And the change is definitely not going unnoticed. The producer was welcomed by roaring whistles from the fairer sex at a recent press conference. An evidently flushed Siddharth took his position on the dais and when asked about the reason for the makeover, chuckled saying, “It’s only because director Madhur Bhandarkar has promised to cast me in his next film.”
That’s Siddharth’s excuse, but we’re wondering if it is at the insistence of his girlfriend. But then again, Vidya wouldn’t make for the best weight-watcher or would she?
