Shah Rukh has a long story to tell

While Aamir Khan prefers to stick to the 90-minute slot for his films, SRK, on the other hand, has no qualms about stretching to 150 minutes. And that’s what the King Khan is planning to do for Ra.One, to justify the hundreds of crores he has pumped into this ambitious project.

Shot over a period of 125 days, it was only a few days back that Ra.One came to a close. Now is the time for the daunting task of putting it all together into a seamless narrative and brevity is definitely a challenge. “There is so much to be told in Ra.One, however, both Shah Rukh and I feel that we should keep the film within 150 minutes. Of course it will be a huge struggle, but at the end of the day it’s the film that decides the duration and not vice versa,” says Anubhav, adding, “We should know in the next fortnight how the theatrical cut would look like.” So will 150 minutes bring back the King?
