Salman pairs up with Kangna

Mahesh Manjrekar is all set to remake his super hit Marathi film, Shikshanacha Aai Cha Go, with Salman Khan and Kangna Ranaut. Salman Khan decided to make the film and his company, Being Human, will be the producer .

However, according to a source, things are not going so well. “The film was to go on the floors in August as Salman is not shooting for any film at present. But, the film did not take off. The official reason for the delay is that Salman is busy with the promotions of Dabangg. But the fact is that people have asked Salman to reconsider the project as it might not be a commercially viable one, especially since it deals with the education system in Maharashtra. While the film might have done wonders in Marathi, it needs to have a universal appeal like 3 Idiots had.
