Sallu means business

Salman Khan has always been known as a man who would do anything for his family. But it seems that the superstar draws the line when it comes to his films.

Salman, who has always pampered his dear sister Arpita, recently turned down her request of having a private screening of Dabangg 2 for her close friends. “She has a huge set of friends from in and out of the industry. Since the film is a home production, it was a given that the family would have a trial for their close friends,” says a source. But apparently, it was Salman’s business manager Reshma Shetty who played spoilsport. “Reshma completely ruined Arpita’s plan,” the source adds.
Word has it that the star manager thought it was a bad idea to screen the film before it's official release. “The team has worked out a strategy and they don’t want to show anything to outsiders as yet,” the source continues. What has irked Arpita the most is the fact that neither of her brothers — Salman or Arbaaz — came to her rescue. “Being the director of the film, Arbaaz chose to follow Reshma’s strategy. Salman didn’t save the day either.”
Business is business after all.
