Saif wants Bebo to focus on wedding

Surely when you’re a gorgeous 30-something in a metro, earning mega bucks and generally ruling the glamour industry, you can afford to take your time when it comes to matters of matrimony. But that unfortunately, is not the case with Ms Kareena Kapoor. Bebo, as recent reports indicate, has been opting out of projects left, right and centre — the reason being beau Saif Ali Khan’s insistence that she focus all her attention on their impending nawaabi nikaah.
The buzz in Bollywood of late has been all about how Bebo dear had to let go of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, Ram Leela, opposite Ranveer Singh, because Saif was against her giving bulk dates to the director, instead of on dedicating to their wedding. A khabru tells us that Bebo’s non-presence in Karan Johar’s film with Emraan Hashmi is also due to the same.
Saif ki baat chhodo, we do think the Bebo-Bhansali combination is un peu beleaguered. Remember Bajirao Mastani, which never got made? “Bebo tried to postpone Ram Leela (because of her wedding plans), and that didn’t go down well with SLB. He emailed her saying he couldn’t delay it and dropped her from the project,” our source adds.
Oh well, we’re sure Priyanka Chopra (who has reportedly replaced Bebo in the film) is anticipating the Kapoor-Khan vivaah like no one else!
