Saif responds to the ‘jinx co-star’ theory

Saif Ali Khan, who is currently shooting for Happy Ending in Los Angeles, is not amused at being referred to as a “jinx” for some of his co-stars. The insinuation was prompted by the fact that his previous co-stars, Giselli Monteiro (Love Aaj Kal) and Diana Penty (Cocktail), haven’t bagged anything substantial after making their debut with Saif.
When contacted, Saif said, “Whether it is Diana or Giselli, we have cast girls with certain personalities in certain roles and their presence helped the films. However, these girls won’t be comfortable in mainstream films. They need sensitive and caring directors like Imtiaz (Ali) and Homi (Adajania).
About the “jinx” tag, Saif says, “How much should I care? The world of movies is transparent. You could call someone a jinx while someone else might call that being lucky. Take your pick!”
