Sachin Tendulkar in Vidhu’s next

After breaking records in cricket, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar will be making a foray into films — though whether he will act or play a few shots is not known.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra is the director who has managed to stage this coup of getting Tendulkar to act in his next film, Ferrari Ki Sawari and the director is being very close-lipped about it. The lead actors for the film haven’t been finalised yet. The top contenders for now are SRK, Aamir and Ranbir Kapoor.
Though Chopra has forbidden his team from speaking about it, there is a lot of excitement about him being part of the film which will be directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. The film’s story is a heartwarming tale of how the pursuit of an Indian cricket legend’s Ferrari makes a young boy’s dreams of playing cricket at Lords, a reality. Rajkumar Hirani is writing the dialogue of the film. Earlier this year, Tendulkar had tweeted, “Vinod Chopra has a script called Ferrari Ki Sawari. Just heard it. Sounds awesome.” In yet another tweet, where he posted a picture of himself and Chopra, he had said, “Hanging with Vinod Chopra and Atul Kas-bekar… 3 more Idiots?”
