The Roshan returns

Hrithik Roshan has finally broken his long spell of not signing films. The actor, after two back-to-back successes of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Agneepath, has finally signed on the dotted line for Siddharth Anand’s untitled venture with Fox Star Stuidos.

The actor who has been busy working on Krrish 3, was maintaining a cautious distance from mediocre scripts, lest a debacle la Kites repeat itself.
“Siddharth’s film is most likely a romantic comedy. After all the heavy duty films, Hrithik wanted to work on something lighter,” says our source. The film will go on floors next year. The reason why he took such a long hiatus was the lack of good scripts, according to his team.
“At his level, he can afford to take time to choose the best. That’s why it took him two years to decide on his next film,” the source adds. He now wants to finish the promotions of Krrish 3 before starting work on a new film. And the superstar is likely to take a family vacation before he embarks on his next project, according to sources.
With Salman, Ranbir and Emraan ruling the roost currently, Hrithik’s re-entry may spring up a few filmi twists.
