Rockstar act gets Himesh in trouble

Considering that Himesh Reshammiya has an image of being the rockstar of the Bollywood music scene (as those close to him attest), is it any wonder that the singer-composer has been engaging in appropriately temperamental behaviour?

We heard that recently, Himesh had confirmed that he would be attending an awards event. At the 11th hour, with barely any warning to the organisers, he pulled out. Obviously, the organisers were none too happy about the turn of events.
“He confirmed to us in writing that he would be attending, but then didn’t turn up,” the show organiser rued. Apparently, the date for the event had been set keeping Himesh’s availability in mind.
Himesh’s manager was the one who had sent a confirmation — twice — that he would attend the event, but on the day of the event itself, neither Himesh nor his manager were to be reached. A last-minute replacement had to be arranged. “He didn’t even show us the courtesy of clarifying his stand or sending an apology note,” our source fumed.
