Religious or superstitious?

Bipasha Basu, who is known for her bold and brazen attitude, seems to be seeking divine help these days. On Thursday morning, the actress visited the Kali temple in Jaipur to perform a puja to keep negative forces at bay. Considering Raaz 3 is all set for release, the timing was just fine. But was it a glimpse of her religious streak or has she succumbed to superstition?

“The last one year has been full of ups and downs for her. Raaz 3 will mark the beginning of a new phase in her career. Also, she wanted to ward off the buri nazar (evil eye) before the release of the film,” says her official spokesperson.
Bipasha, who is banking heavily on Raaz 3, insists that it has been her best performance till date. “Above all else, Bipasha has always been a Kali bhakt. Yes, she is superstitious about certain things but this was more of a ritual,” adds her spokesperson.
We’ll soon know if her prayers have been answered.
