Relationship not a ruse

Whether Ek Deewana Tha works or not at the box office, we hope the sizzling chemistry between lead pair Amy Jackson and Prateik will.

The actors have been spotted at several events in Mumbai, looking like quite the cosy twosome, and most people do take it for granted that the romance is for real. Amy herself isn’t exactly denying things — but she isn’t accepting them either. “Prateik and I are very, very close,” she says. “We shot for five months and share a lot of chemistry. How could we not get romantic with such a background score and songs?”
Amy brushes aside all talk of their relationship being a ruse to promote the film. “I wouldn’t use somebody in that way. I believe that I can make it here on my own and I don’t need any rumours to help me do that,” Amy says.
