First it was Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif for Ek Tha Tiger, and now it’s the much talked about pair of Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha — Yash Raj Films seems to be on a spree of casting coups.
Just days after clarifying to the media that they are not in a relationship, Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha signed on the dotted line for an upcoming Yash Raj venture.
The film, which is said to be a romcom will go on the floors by the end of this year.
Our source says, “Ranveer is currently a hot favourite with Yash Raj and already has a three film contract with them. He will start work on the third film soon after wrapping up shooting for his current film Ladies V/s Ricky Behl. Sonakshi too is a hot favourite in the industry, courtesy Dabangg. And since Ranveer and Sonakshi share a good chemistry already, they were deemed the right choice for this romcom.”
Wonder why a certain Anushka Sharma is keeping mum about the proceedings. But we’re sure Ranveer isn’t bothered as long as it’s raining ladies in his life.
