Rani speaks her mind

Rani Mukherji is in no mood to sweet talk, it seems. After taking a dig at Vidya Balan for her risqué character in The Dirty Picture, the queen bee has another actor in the line of fire — Abhishek Bachchan. In a recent interview with a news channel, Rani was asked about her best buds in the industry.

Without batting an eyelid, the actress named the three big Khans — Salman, Aamir and SRK, without a mention of AB baby. We all know of her association with the Khans, but she blatantly denied that she was ever close to Bachchan junior. “The fact is that they were very close during the shooting of Bunty aur Babli,” informs our khabru who adds that the actress is in a position where she doesn’t have to mince her words.
“She knows that the YRF connection allows her to speak her mind. Being the woman in Aditya Chopra’s life has certain perks and Rani is aware of those. That’s why she axed out AB’s name from her best buddy list — someone she was very close to at one point,” he adds.
Well these ups and downs are more of a rule than an exception in Bollywood, but we wonder how AB will react to it.
