Ranbir on to Bombay Velvet

If there’s one person who is playing all his cards right, it’s Ranbir Kapoor. No amount of awards and accolades can make him waver from his focus. After delivering a super hit with Rockstar, he has made headway into the top league and is now one of the most sought after names among top filmmakers. The latest to sign him on is Anurag Kashyap for Bombay Velvet. Incidentally, this is the first film Ranbir has signed after the success of Rockstar. His spokesperson says, “He isn’t in a hurry. Ranbir knows that one’s background doesn’t help one sustain in the industry. The only way to make your presence felt is through hard work, dedication and making the right choice.”
Anurag’s film is slated to go on floors after the release of Anurag Basu’s Barfee. “Ranbir will have to attend some special workshops for his character in Bombay Velvet,” says a source from Kashyap’s team. We are all eyes for another Ranbir extravaganza after Rockstar.
