Rajinikanth to play villain in Dhoom 3?

After Robot, Rajinika-nth is the man who can apparently achieve anything. So the rumour is that Bollywood’s best and brightest are chasing him to act in their movies.
There is a rumour doing the rounds that Yash Chopra is considering asking Rajini to play the villain in Dhoom 3. Earlier the Chopras had approached Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan for the role, but things did not work out. Director Sanjay Gadhvi has already been roped in and he has started working on the script.
Rumour is that Yash and Aditya Chopra would be leaving for Chennai soon to meet Rajinikanth and brief him about the role.
When contacted, Yash Chopra’s spokesperson commented, “We have the utmost respect for Rajinikanth as an actor, but the truth is that no such plans have been made. The script is still under finalisation and all casting will be done post that.” So, who will play the negative role in Dhoom 3, after John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan, remains to be seen.
