Raj learns how to shoot

He may be very new to the industry but Raj Kumar Yadav does take his job very seriously. The actor, who delivered a stellar act in Kai Po Che, will be seen in Hansal Mehta’s next, Shahid. The film is based on the true story of slain human rights activist and lawyer Shahid Azmi and Raj Kumar will be essaying the title role.
Sources close to the film have revealed that the actor underwent rigorous training to prepare for the role. “Raj Kumar trained for 15 days to learn how to operate machine guns and also to get the mannerisms and body language of a gunman right. Shahid is based on a true story that traces the inspiring personal journey of a boy who spent some of his precious years in jail as he was wrongly imprisoned under the anti-terrorism law. He was released after seven years and eventually he became an unlikely messiah for human rights.”
