Priyanka is not a bully on the sets, says Arjun

Over the last few weeks, there have been loud whispers in the industry about how Priyanka Chopra is throwing her weight around on the sets of Gunday. While Priyanka has chosen to maintain a dignified silence on the matter, her co-star Arjun seems to have taken the onus of rubbishing the rumours on himself. “I am glad that someone has asked me to clarify on this matter. Nothing like what’s being said has ever happened with Priyanka. Honestly, I don’t even know how to react to this. She has been a star for so many years and no tantrums have ever come into the picture. She is too mature to be indulging in such behaviour.”
Recalling an incident from the past, Arjun continues, “I have actually known her for a very long time now. I was an assistant on the sets of Salaam-e-Ishq and used to call her by saying, ‘Madam, shot ready hai’. Even now I tell her ‘Madam aap aaiye na’. It’s all in good humour of course. The only difference is that earlier it was her that was facing the camera and now we both are. I am very fond of her and love her as an actor. She has not changed at all and that is the hallmark of a true star and an actor.”
Now that should put wagging tongues to rest.
