Priyanka’s first salary treasured!

They may be earning in lakhs and crores now, but most stars still retain a bit of sentimental attachment to their first salary, like most of us common folk. Priyanka Chopra is one of the aam aadmi variety in this regard for sure. She claims she is very emotional about her first earnings. So much so, that she has neither spent those rupees nor given them away to a temple or for charity. Her mom has instead, treasured the amount that she received towards her first salary.

Ask her about it and she is quick to retort back. “Yeah! I still remember how happy I was when I drew my first salary. It was ` 5000. My mom never allowed me to deposit my first salary in the bank. She has treasured those notes with her to date. It feels great whenever I see those notes.” Good to know that there are actresses like Priyanka around who probably look back at their first salary to marvel at how far they have come since then.
