Prachi’s next with Rajeev Khandelwal

Prachi Desai who received rave reviews for her role in Ekta Kapoor’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai is now looking forward to her next film titled Mein Joker which is being readied for a post Diwali release.
The film directed by Vikram Tuli stars Rajeev Khandelwal in the lead. It may be recalled that Rajeev and Prachi started their career as television artistes with Balaji House. But the actress reveals that she didn’t know Rajeev before doing the film. “I had never met him when we were both doing serials. He went on to debut with Aamir and I with Rock on. When we met on the sets for the first time, we had so much to connect and talk about,” reveals Prachi.
Prachi says that Rajeev started acting when she was still in school. “I had watched him perform and admired his work. But after working with him, I realised how dedicated and professional he is. You can look up to him for help,” she adds.
Debutant director Vikram Tuli is incidentally actor Kumar Gaurav’s cousin. The film is the story of a father and his five-year-old son played by Shrey Bawa. “It’s a young film,” reveals Prachi. “It has a lot of dimensions to it. The film has lot of emotions beautifully handled by Vikram Tuli and will cater to youngsters as well as children alike,” she informs.
