No more psycho roles

From Gangster to Life In A Metro or Fashion, it’s always been the slightly neurotic, part-psycho, part-disturbed characters that Kangana Ranaut has revelled in. But the experience of working in an action film in Krrish 2 has changed her mind and changed it for good. She has now decided to work on more action flicks, and has also been working hard on her look and body language.
“I got fed up doing the same kind of monotonous roles. The new films came like a breath of fresh air,” says Kangy, adding that she has started working out to become much fitter and in shape.
And the inspiration for Kangy’s new makeover is not her co-star Hrithik Roshan, but the original queen of action, Angelina Jolie. Performing some daredevil stunts, Kangy obviously wants to lay claim to becoming the desi Lara Croft. “All I can say now is that people will be surprised to see me in such a different and new avatar,” she says.
