No idea of the cast, but release date is set

Sequels are so few and far between in Bollywood that whenever one comes along, it creates a massive buzz. Milan Luthria’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbai is one of the films which is set for a sequel, and even though it’s nearly a year away, the makers are already working towards making it among the biggest Bollywood events of 2012.
“Ekta Kapoor and Milan Luthria are trying to release it in May 2012. They are convinced it’s the right time, as the audience would have suffered a virtual draught of films due to the IPL season. Since OUATIM 2 is an eagerly awaited film and a sequel to a hit blockbuster, they don’t want to let go of this opportunity. They have already locked their plans and dates from all actors are confirmed,” a source attached to the film says.
And even though the release timing is down pat, the cast, surprisingly, isn’t. Right now, the only thing known is that Akshay Kumar is in, while Ajay Devgn is most definitely not. It isn’t known if Emraan Hashmi or any of the leading ladies will be there or not.
