Media upsets Salman
Salman Khan has been in the industry long enough to know the way things function, especially with regards to the media. So we were rather surprised to see him lash out at the media recently. At a press conference in the city, Sallu blamed the media for all the problems in his life, even for such unrelated things like the shot circuit on the sets of Dabangg 2!
“Even for mishaps like the fire on his film’s sets and the hit-and-run involving his driver, Salman has been blaming the media,” says our source, adding that the star is generally in a foul mood these days.
“It’s really strange that a star of his calibre had to resort to such gimmicks,” says an eyewitness at the press conference where Sallu lashed out.
Considering Salman has a big budget, much hyped release coming up in Ek Tha Tiger, it could presumably be a case of nerves setting in. Or it could just be irritation at the media blowing up minor mishaps out of proportion. “To an extent he is right. But instead of raging about the media, he should use the hype these incidents create. In situations like those, everybody wants a piece of him and wants to know what’s been happening,” says a director who has worked with Sallu.
