Mallika Sherawat seems to have finally gotten over her Hollywood hangover. After losing out on several meaty projects in her tussle between the two worlds, the actress wants to lose no more. It seems that she is ready to be back for good in Bollywood and has already signed four Hindi films, one of which is Sudhir Mishra’s next, where she will be sharing screen space with an ensemble cast. So is the lady trying her luck in art house now?
“Be it commercial or serious cinema, Mallika has made up her mind to make it this time. After signing a racy film like Kismat Love Paisa Dilli, Sudhir’s film was just what she was looking for,” says her spokesperson.
But is it wise to attempt a comeback in an ensemble star-cast film? “She is a very confident actor and this won’t be her first multi-starrer. If she has a good role, she is sure to outshine others,” the spokesperson adds.
Will this risk pay off? We can only wait and watch.
