Madhur’s take on Gauri ‘in bad taste’

Madhur Bhandarkar’s magnum opus has finally hit the theatres giving rise to a fresh set of controversies post its release. According to close sources, Madhur’s take on SRK’s wife Gauri Khan in Heroine has met with strong negative reactions from the industry.

A close friend of Gauri says, “The film has a character called Gauri Khan who is a star wife and takes calls on which actress should be working with her husband. I think it’s hitting below the belt and is in very bad taste.”
While the director has been shouting from rooftops about how none of the characters in the film bear any resemblance to any actor, people don’t seem to believe him anymore. “Gauri is aghast at this. All her life she has stayed away from the media glare and has never taken a call on any of Shah Rukh’s films. Why drag her into the mess, that too so blatantly?” continues her friend.
Looks like Madhur has a lot of answering to do.
