Loyal Riteish will play against his own team

With his ace batting skills, Riteish is touted as the most reliable player in Salman’s Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) team, Mumbai Heroes. Due to an ankle injury, Riteish was unable to participate in the games last year and his absence was more than felt by brothers Salman and Sohail who are big fans of Riteish’s sporting skills.

While he is back this year, much to the relief of the Khan brothers, the happiness is short lived. Because the actor has apparently decided to launch a CCL team of his own — called Veer Marathi — but he will be playing as part of the new team from the next season.
“It is rather unusual for a team owner to play on behalf of a rival team but Riteish is known for being a loyal friend and player. He didn’t want it to be a rude shock to Sohail and Salman so he decided to continue playing as part of Mumbai Heroes this year and will join Veer Marathi only in the next season,” says our source.
It will indeed be interesting to see the actor pitched against his own team. Let the games begin!
