‘King remains king’
Shah Rukh Khan’s magnum opus Ra.One has finally hit the theatres and the reactions have been extreme, but the King chooses to maintain a brave stance. “I don’t really bother about the collections. I am happy with the success of the film. I have been told by my business partners we did good business. I am happy that people are talking about the film, be it good or bad,” says the Baadshah of Bollywood.
The film’s release, however, has provided him with no respite from his hectic schedules. “Since the time the movie has been released, I have travelled all the way from Los Angeles to Bhatinda and everyone has been talking about the film. People are writing and talking good things and bad things about the film, but at the end of the day I feel everything happens for good,” adds the superstar.
When asked about the constant debate on whether or not Ra.One can cross the figures garnered by Aamir’s 3 Idiots and Salman’s Bodyguard, Shah Rukh said, “It is demeaning if we compare every film of every actor. It is wrong to compare. I don’t believe in comparisons. Every actor has a different body of work; it is unfair to compare anyone.” But he didn’t lose a moment before adding, “ Badshah to Badshah hi rehte hai (A King remains a king’)”.
