Kareena in title trouble again

Title troubles have been following Kareena Kapoor around for a while now. The makers of her latest film, tentatively titled Short Term Shaadi, are deliberating on other options.
“Talks are on to get the best title for this romcom starring Imran Khan as well,” says a source at the production house. “The working title is Short Term Shaadi, but director Shakun Batra doesn’t like it.”
Earlier, there was title trouble over We Are Family, with producer Karan Johar suggesting three options before they decided on this. Before that, Vishal Bhardwaj struggled for a while before deciding on Omkara. Ditto for Jab We Met, where Imtiaz Ali finalised one based on an audience poll. The common factor in all these films: Kareena Kapoor.
“We are struggling to find the perfect title, but we will eventually get there. There is still time to go before the promotions begin, what we are sure is that Short Term Shaadi will be released in the start of October,” says producer Karan Johar, sounding hopeful of finding a long term title for Short Term Shaadi.
