Will she, won’t she? After the debacle of Mausam, Sonam Kapoor seems to have distanced herself from her close friend Shahid Kapur. All of which has put Sonam’s beau Punit Malhotra’s planned project with the two stars in jeopardy. Another casualty of B’town’s famed transient friendships?
“Sonam was banking on Mausam to succeed. Unfortunately, the film didn’t do well. Small wonder then, that she is hesitant about teaming up with Shahid again,” a little birdie told us.
Shahid has verbally committed himself to the project, while Sonam hasn’t signed on the figurative dotted line as yet. “Sonam is a talented actress but unfortunately, her films haven’t lived up to her expectations. Understandably, she doesn’t want to take any risks,” our source added.
We understand, Sonam. But do Shahid and Punit?
