It’s the Deols for Subhash’s next

The success of Apne and Yamla Pagla Deewana has proved that the Deol men appearing together in a film is a big draw at the box office. And while the Deol family was busy shooting for the sequel to Yamla Pagla Deewana in London, they happened to come across another filmmaker who is keen to have all them in his next project. Subhash Ghai, who was also in London at the same time as the Deols, scouting for locations for another project, couldn’t let go of the opportunity when he came across the Deols (father and sons) to narrate a project he has in mind for them.
“Ghai saab was in London and he had a script, which he read out to Sunny Deol,” a little birdie in the know revealed. The deal was then finalised. The project is a comic caper and work on it will start next year. “Right now, the Deols are busy with YPD2, but they have verbally agreed to do Ghai saab’s film,” our source added.
