It’s another hit that bebo wants

Kareena Kapoor has starred in some of the biggest grossers in recent Bollywood history. But be it 3 Idiots, Golmaal, Bodyguard or now Ra.One, Bebo has faced criticism that her contribution to these films was merely in the capacity of eye candy.
Now her upcoming turn in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine would have been Bebo’s chance to silence her critics. Having proved in the past, with Chameli and Jab We Met, that her acting prowess is considerable, Bebo could have driven home a timely reminder of why she’s at the top, with Heroine.
But she doesn’t seem to view it the same way. “I don’t want to go into Heroine thinking that it is (going to be) a National Award winning film,” Bebo says. “I would rather that it’s a hit film.” Err...isn’t that just what the critics have been complaining about Bebo?
