Imran’s not scared of Delhi Belly’s delay

Last year saw Aamir Khan get so busy with the making of Peepli Live and Dhobi Ghat that he was forced to push Delhi Belly to the backburner. However, following the critical acclaim and success of the former two, Aamir has now finally started promoting nephew Imran Khan’s Delhi Belly, albeit belatedly. The delay, however, doesn’t affect Imran, who insists that it wouldn’t affect the film’s fate. “The film was ready but both Aamir mamu and Abhinay were busy then,” Imran says, nonchalantly adding, “I don’t think that this will affect things though because my Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na was also released after a year-and-a-half of its completion.” For Imran’s sake, we certainly hope so, as the last thing he needs after a string of flops, is a film failing because of a delay.
