Hritihk’s excited to be part of Shekhar’s Pani

Shekhar Kapoor’s ambitious project Pani has been sailing in troubled waters for a while now, but things are turning around for the film. It has been taken over by Yash Raj Films and infused new enthusiasm among the cast of the film — including Hrithik Roshan.

Hrithik’s name has been associated with the film ever since Shekhar launched the film’s poster in 2010 at the Cannes Film Festival. But it did not move beyond that and Hrithik got tired of waiting. Then there were rumours that Ranbir Kapoor had been cast in the film. But Shekhar announced on Twitter that he just wanted to cast Hrithik. From the looks of the film, that’s exactly what he is going to get. The excitement however, is mutual. Hrithik who respects Shekhar’s works, is excited about his association with the talented director. “I am working with Shekhar Kapur in Paani. It is my dream come true. He is very delightful person. Whenever I talk or spend time with him, I feel good,” says Hrithik.
