Hema is worried about Esha
Hema Malini has got to be one of the most patient persons in the industry. The lady, after finally taking matters into her own hands to resurrect daughter Esha Deol’s career, has had to face a lot of rough weather while making the relaunch pad Tell Me Oh Khuda. And Esha’s negligible market value is further adding to her list of woes. Apparently, the super success of Bodyguard and the never-ending hype surrounding Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Mausam is giving Hema cold feet.
A source says, “The audience is hooked to these films right now and Hema doesn’t want to take any chances with TMOK. And since Esha’s market value is nil, the content of the film has to be the hero. So it’s safer to delay the release for a while.”
Understandable, but the decision hasn’t gone down well with Esha who was looking forward to her first release in years. However, these hazards haven’t stalled Hema’s ambitious future plans — according to rumours, she plans to make Razia Sultan with Esha. “A lot depends on how TMOK fares. It’s too premature to talk about it,” adds the source.
What all mothers do for daughters!
