A fashionable foot forward for Vidya

After all the flak she received over her dowdy sense of style, Vidya Balan is looking refreshingly different. Making her first public appearance after the release of Ghanchakkar, Vidya was spotted in an orange dress at the airport, with hubby Siddharth Roy Kapur. Vidya’s friends say she’s happy about getting rid of her monotonous look. “She is watching her diet, going for long walks and has lost a little weight,” a friend enthused. “She’s feeling more comfortable in her Western clothes too. At international events, it’s different, because she’s showcasing Indian culture there.”
At a recent family dinner, Vidya was spotted in a lovely blue dress — slimmer and more confident.
