Emraan’s YRF film is on

The Yash Raj banner doesn’t like to experiment too much with its stars, even preferring to sign them on for multi-film contracts. Of course, it does help their cause that stars don’t ever turn down offers that come from the YRF banner. So tinseltown had every right to be shocked when news filtered through that Emraan Hashmi had opted out of a YRF project.
However, it now appears that these could just be rumours after all. “In fact, Emraan has been meeting them on a regular basis and was recently spotted in their office as well. Rumours of him not doing their film are wrong,” says a mutual associate. “YRF is a premium brand name and adds a lot of value to an actor’s profile. Considering Emraan too has been enjoying a lot of success, it’s a win-win scenario neither party will back out of.”
Considering Emraan has just signed up for a Karan Johar production, his calendar is chock-a-bloc currently, and it was this reason that he apparently gave while turning down YRF. “It’s untrue. Emraan and the Chopras are still interested. It’s just that he’s been busy for a while and is careful with his choices. But there has certainly been no conversation breakdown between them yet. Wait for the official announcement,” the associate adds.
