Emraan is irritated
These are bittersweet times for Emraan Hashmi. While on one hand Murder 2 is turning out to be one of the best films in his career, in terms of opening, the actor is barely finding any time to celebrate. Incidentally, Emraan has been summoned by the makers of The Dirty Picture to report in Hyderabad for the film’s shooting schedule.
After the relentless promotions of Murder 2, Emraan was hoping that he would catch up on some long awaited sleep, but as luck would have it, he had to resume work without a decent break. Says the weary actor, “Honestly, I would have preferred to stay back in Mumbai till the end of the first week of Murder 2. I wanted to enjoy the success, if not for the entire week, but over the weekend at least. All I can say now, is that I’m not liking this one bit.”
Sources say that the actor had begun to sneak into multiplexes to track the audience’s reaction to his film. “By the time details started pouring in for Friday’s collections, it was obvious that the film’s a hit, but Emraan could hardly rejoice as he had a plane to catch,” says a source. But one can hardly blame the makers of The Dirty Picture for Emraan’s predicament. After the shoot being delayed due to the Telangana strike, it’s only natural that they would want to resume working at the earliest.
But as of now it’s Emraan who needs some cheering up. Vidya Balan, are you listening?
