Dippy has lover’s spat with Ranveer

Ever since Ranbir Kapoor’s famous towel dance in Saawariya, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been known for the bold portrayal of actors in his films. After Ranbir, it’s now Ranveer Singh’s turn to carry on the trend. It seems SLB convinced Ranveer for a bold act in Ram Leela.

While the entire unit, including the director, were impressed with his low-waist lungi, one person who didn’t quite like it was his co-star and rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone, who thought it looked vulgar.
“It was a bit revealing. But Ranveer has the body to carry it off. Deepika, however, was very vocal about her opinion. She felt Ranveer was trying to do a John Abraham in Dostana,” says a unit member. Apparently, this difference of opinion resulted in a small argument between the lovebirds. Buzz is that the duo weren’t talking for the next two days. “Let’s not blow this out of proportion. It was just a lover’s tiff and they patched up after a few days,” says an eyewitness. But in the whole episode, Deepika’s possessiveness and concern for her man was too evident, according to insiders. Understandably, she didn’t want him to show too much skin on screen.
We wonder if the same rules apply to her too...
