The one-film old Ranveer Singh has already become something of an established name in Bollywood. But as a newbie, Ranveer has had a ringside view of the casting couch. “It does exist, unfortunately,” Ranveer says. “I don’t think it exists at the higher rung because the stakes are too high, the people involved are too professional. yes, at the lower rung, smaller casting directors, agents … some of these characters give the fraternity a bad name. I have met such sleazy gentlemen.”
We wonder why none of the directors known for making realistic cinema have tackled the subject yet. Is it because people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones?
