Clash of egoes on the sets

There have been rumours for a while about simmering tension between Arjun Rampal and Abhay Deol on the sets of Prakash Jha’s next film Chakravyuh. The reason, according to sources, is repeated clash of egoes when it came to working together.

Both actors are well placed in their careers with a bunch of successes to establish their credentials. Arjun has even had a hit with Prakash while Abhay feels he has star value. So neither is willing to blink first, according to rumours.
When we asked Jha if he played any favourites on the sets, he chose to defend his actors. “Arjun and Abhay are not hungry for screen space. They understood their characters well and did not create any fuss. If anything I think they both complemented each other — each one improved the other’s performance.”
