The Shah Rukh-Salman war seems to get murkier by the day. Last evening saw Kareena Kapoor hold a promotional event for her film Bodyguard, where she’s working opposite Salman. At the event, Kareena was supposed to felicitate the bodyguards of the industry’s biggest stars. Accordingly, she presented trophies to the bodyguards of Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, etc.
Strangely enough, the industry’s biggest superstar Shah Rukh and his bodyguard were conspicuously missing at the event. The only person who has the guts to pull off something like this against SRK is Salman. “It was Salman who didn’t want his foe’s bodyguard to be applauded. And Kareena had to bear the brunt,” our source says.
Kareena, however, doused the fire, saying SRK’s bodyguard might have been busy. “I’m sure the production did get in touch with him; I’m not aware of the details,” she said.
