In an industry full of bitchiness and backstabbing, Bipasha Basu is ensuring her words about her co-stars are sweeter than thou. On the occasion of the unveiling of Players to the public, Bips was lavish in her praise of Sonam Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan, saying, “Sonam is a lovely girl, and Abhishek is a lovely boy…err, now going to be a daddy!”
Even as the audience absorbed that, Bips was well on her way to praising the directors of Players, Abbas-Mustan. “All the films I have done with then have worked really well for me and for them,” she said. We don’t know about Sonam and Abhi, but the director duo has earned the leggy lass’ kind words: Not only did they give her a powerful start in Ajnabee, they also gave her career a boost with the thriller Race. Will Players revive Bips’ flagging career?
