Last month, news about Bipasha Basu’s alleged fall out with “good friend” Rana Daggubatti started doing the rounds after she unfollowed the Southern heartthrob on a microblogging website. The rumours gained steam when Rana was not seen at Bipasha’s birthday party, but nobody could put a finger on the reason behind the sudden cold war.
But things seem to have taken a U-turn since then. Buzz is that Rana was in town last week to sort out differences with her. Bipasha, on her part, refused to get into the matter. “I think people are very quick to jump to conclusions. I understand that it is natural to be curious about a public figure. But I like to keep things private,” she said.
Bipasha doesn’t deny Rana being in town. “Yes, he was here a few days ago and we did meet. He’s a dear friend and I don’t understand why this needs to be a big issue. I don’t feel the need to talk about people close to me.”
