Bhai is not overworked: Sohail
Salman Khan has always been known for giving full support to his family. From helping them find a good script to ensuring that the film is a super hit by playing the lead, Sallu has been with his family through thick and thin.
Most of Sallu’s recent hits and forthcoming films — barring Ek Tha Tiger — Dabangg, Bodyguard, Dabangg 2 and the much delayed Sher Khan are home productions. Sallu, it’s believed, is so occupied and worked up with his home productions that he doesn’t have time to work with any other producer.
His brother and producer Sohail Khan, also the producer of Sallu’s upcoming film Sher Khan, however, denies that Salman is exclusively working for the home production films. “There is a series of home produced films that have released back to back. But that is not planned. Salman is free to work with anyone he wants,” says Sohail. The filmmaker rebuffed the allegation that Salman is overworked. “He has a method that he follows. This was a busy year but I don’t think he (Salman) is complaining.”
Sohail refuses to give any details about Sher Khan, however he says that he is really excited about the project. “We’ll start the film in January or February 2013. I can’t divulge any more details,” says Sohail.
Incidentally both Sohail and Salman will also be busy with the celebrity cricket league around the same time. Won’t that put too much of pressure on both the brothers? “Not at all,” says Sohail. Well, the schedule is definitely tight, but Sohail still insists that Salman isn’t overworked.
