It’s not just the five Khans who can’t get enough of Kareena Kapoor. If rumours are true, then producer Ekta Kapoor also plans to approach her for the lead role in the sequel of Once Upon A Time in Mumbai.
While the first film was completely action-oriented, the second one promises to be totally different. Sources say, “The sequel will be based on the life of Dawood Ibrahim but will be more of a love story surrounding the girl who changes his life forever.”
Looks like Bebo is already warming up to the Ekta banner. Recently, at the Balaji awards function she performed on a medley of Sridevi’s popular numbers on Ekta’s insistence.
“Ekta feels that no one fits the bill better than Kareena. In the past too, she has portrayed strong women characters in Omkara, Jab We Met, Chameli and Kurbaan. She is the strongest contender for the sequel,” added the source.
