Bebo embarrasses Madhur publicly
Kareena Kapoor, who is known to have a reputation for calling a spade a spade, recently reclaimed her title. The actress, who was in the capital recently, along with Madhur Bhandarkar to promote Heroine, embarrassed the latter with her straightforward behaviour.
Kareena, who plays a Bollywood superstar in the film, was quizzed about the infamous casting couch phenomenon that is rampant is showbiz. “Considering Heroine too has scenes pertaining to it, the question wasn’t unexpected. But Kareena innocently, passed it on to Madhur. Madhur, who clearly didn’t see it coming his way, nearly froze on the spot,” says an eyewitness. But Bebo wouldn’t stop there. “She went on to add that she has only played her bit in the film and that Madhur would be able to answer the question better,” the eyewitness continues. Those present were of the opinion that Kareena may not have even realised that she has touched a raw nerve.
It’s not been too long since Madhur managed to clear himself of casting couch allegations made by a certain Preeti Jain. But the issue is still a sensitive matter for him.
“Full marks to Madhur who regained his composure and answered the question,” added an eyewitness.
We wonder if all is well between him and Bebo now.
