Arshad will never produce a film

After lying low for a long time, Arshad is poised to return with a bang with a bunch of releases this year. While Zila Ghaziabad and Jolly L.L.B. are complete, he has also started work on Dedh Ishqiya with Madhuri Dixit. So careerwise, things really seem to be looking up for the actor.

While there is no end to his acting ambitions, Arshad is clear that he is never going to get into production again. He says, “You never know what happens to you tomorrow. As a producer, I turned out to be a flop producer. I have burnt my fingers tremendously with Hum Tum Aur Ghost, so don’t expect me to produce a film again.” He feels it’s the toughest job in the industry. “On my set, everyone had a gala time. They came, enjoyed and went back,” he recalls, adding, “Yes, I will produce a film only when I have enough money to throw away, so that I don’t get bankrupt.”
Wise decision, we say.
