There is no limit to what Aishwarya Rai Bachchan can do to show her husband that she cares. Despite her schedule, filled with endorsement responsibilities and film promotions, she flew down to Mumbai from Paris to surprise Abhishek, who was promoting Mani Ratnam’s Raavan.
“Normally she does not like to disturb Abhishek while he is at work. Even when they are shooting, they never hang out on the sets. This time she made an exception as she was away for a long time,” says a source.
The couple has been saving up all the time they can to be with each other and while on their recent vacation-cum-work trip to Greece, they weren’t able to spend as much time together as they would have liked. The source says, “Abhishek and Aishwarya spent very little time together on their recent holiday as Abhishek was busy shooting for Abhinay Deo’s Game in Greece. Aishwarya returned to Chennai to shoot for Robot with Rajnikant. She later flew to Paris to honour the Brazilian tennis champ Gustavo Kuerten for his charity work with children.
“After the event she attended a charity dinner where she bonded with former tennis stars Steffi Graf and Mary Pierce. Both Abhishek and Aishwarya are great sports buffs and she rued the fact that Abhishek was not present for the event,” the source adds.
