In a curious Dr Dolittle twist, Akshay Kumar will be seen playing dentist to an alligator in Housefull 2. Considering sequences where he slapped a monkey, tamed a tiger and accidentally killed a parrot in the original Housefull, should we assume that animal welfare activists have had a word with director Sajid Khan?
Apparently, the scene was an impromptu addition. “The alligator is shown suffering from an intense toothache, which Akki and Rits help soothe,” a source from the sets revealed.
Enthuses Akki. “I never thought I’d have a funnier scene to enact than the ones I had in Housefull — until Sajid introduced me to the alligator in Housefull 2!”
